Cargo (discharged/loaded at JD/PP) related wharfage charges are recovered from Govt./Non-govt. Port Users as per the provision of Scale of Rates (SOR) in MOT section of Centralized Billing Section of OSC within ten days from the date of sailing of vessel.

Where to make the payments? Applications/Personal Deposit Slips in the prescribed format for payment of MOT wharfage charges may be submitted at the office of the Deputy Traffic Manager, OSC, MOT Section, First floor, OSC Building, P.D'Mello Road, Opposite G.P.O., Fort, Mumbai: 400 001. NEFT/RTGS payment can be made at Accounts Department, Cash Office, Ground Floor, Port Bhavan. |

How the PDRs of advance payment are processed ? The application alongwith the D.D/Pay Orders is to be submitted by the Non-Govt. Port Users to the MOT Section for preparation of PDR. The subject PDR is entered into the Registers/System. Original copy of the PDR is handed over to the party, second to the Audit and the third is retained in the section for reference. Govt. Port Users submits Personal Deposit Slip alongwith D.D on the basis of which their P.D.Account is updated. |

Is it necessary to submit Billing Advice along with NEFT/RTGS payment receipt by Govt. Port Users to MOT Section, OSC after making payment through NEFT/RTGS at Accounts Department, Cash Office ? Yes. It is necessary. From NEFT/RTGS payment receipts, MOT Section, OSC can verify and connect/adjust the NEFT/RTGS payment made by Govt. Port User along with various payments made by other port users on the same day. From the Billing Advice, MOT section can generate the exact MOT wharfage charges bill to the particular Oil Tanker and its IGM/Item or Shipping Bill submitted by the Govt. Port user. |
