A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Communication, China visited Mumbai Port on 7.9.2013.  The MOC is the biggest Ministry in China Government having jurisdiction over Port Authorities, Land Transportation and Road Planning & Management, Sea and River Transportation and Nautical & Aviation Safety Management. The delegation headed by Mr.He Jiang Zhong, Vice-Minister of MOC, met Shri Rajeev Gupta, Chairman, Mumbai Port Trust and other Senior Port Officers and discussed possible awareness for enhancing trade-relations between India and China as well as plans to strengthen co-operation between the two countries.
